Well, we’re halfway through May so far, and it’s been an interesting month so far, although not much really needs to be said here.

I’ve also found a lot of cool Metroid things this month, and so, for all you Metroid fans, I figured I’d pass them on:

Metroid 2 Remake

As the title implies, this is a remake of Metroid 2, that someone is making using a system similar in style to Zero Mission. It’s about 40% complete so far, and it looking good. There’s also a Demo to try, if you’re interested.

Metroid – SR388

This one just looks plain amazing. Although the title might make you think it’s another Metroid 2 remake, it’s actually a completely original game, that’s simply set on SR388. With all new Moves, Items, and Enemies, this game looks set to be sheer awesomeness.

Let’s Play Metroid Fusion

And finally, something of my own creation here.
For those who don’t know, a Let’s Play is where a person records themselves playing through a game, in this case Metroid Fusion, and also records a commentary to go along with it. This was my first attempt at a Let’s Play, and so I’m very curious as to what people think about it.
For the record, it’s a 100% run of the game that I managed to complete Under 2 Hours. (And believe me, it surprised me too. ) There’s 18, 10-minute long vids, so make sure you’ve got so free time before you sit down and watch it.

In order to assure the highest levels of quality work and productivity from employees, it will be our policy to keep all employees well trained through our program of Special High Intensity Training (S.H.I.T). We are trying to give employees more S.H.I.T than anyone else.
If you feel that you do not receive your share of S.H.I.T on the job, please see your manager. You will be immediately placed at the top of the S.H.I.T list, and our managers are especially skilled at seeing that you get all the S.H.I.T you can handle.
Employees who do not take their S.H.I.T will be placed in Departmental Employee Evaluation Programs (D.E.E.P S.H.I.T). Those who fail to take D.E.E.P S.H.I.T seriously will have to go to Employee Attitude Training (E.A.T S.H.I.T).
Since our managers took S.H.I.T before they were promoted, they do not have to do S.H.I.T anymore, as they are all full of S.H.I.T already.
If you are full of S.H.I.T, you may be interested in a job training others. We can add your name to our Basic Understanding Lecture List (B.U.L.L S.H.I.T) Those who are full of B.U.L.L S.H.I.T will get the S.H.I.T jobs, and can apply for promotion to Director of Intensity Programming (D.I.P S.H.I.T)
